Abstract

Inspired by the research on the relationship between yrast states and solitons in 1D systems, we explore the emergence of vortices during measurements of a few-body 2D system. We investigate various geometries, including a box with periodic boundary conditions and atoms confined within a cylinder. Our analysis reveals effects associated with the vortices identified through many-body analysis: their centers exhibit constant fluctuations, yet the vortices themselves appear to be dynamically stable.
